Entire team must step up as Redd alone can't carry load

Guard Michael Redd will be returning to action soon and that's a good thing for the Milwaukee Bucks.

His value to the team on the court goes without saying, and he will also provide leadership and an emotional boost to a downtrodden team.

But there is one aspect of Redd's return that has gone largely unheeded: His return does not provide an instant cure-all for what ails this team. Redd's presence will not translate into automatic victories.

That's because as Redd works to get his legs back under him, if his teammates don't get their act together and provide a capable supporting cast, as they did in December when the Bucks were a highly respectable unit, they will continue to struggle.
