Los Angeles - At no time previously has this season looked as bleak as it does now for the Milwaukee Bucks.

The losses are mounting at an alarming rate, the injury situation has reached ridiculous proportions and the upcoming schedule is unforgiving.

Even so, it's not as if the Bucks are facing Mission Impossible here.

The Bucks still have half their schedule remaining and because they play in the Eastern Conference, they are still very much in the playoff hunt. Of a more immediate nature, their two remaining opponents on this four-game western trip - the Los Angeles Clippers tonight at the Staples Center and the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night at ARCO Arena - are sub-.500 teams. Just like the Bucks.
