Bucks hope rookies use time wisely
Quote:
The available playing time is considerable.
Guard Michael Redd was averaging 39 minutes a game for the Milwaukee Bucks before he was sidelined with a knee injury. Guard Mo Williams was averaging 37 minutes and Charlie Villanueva was averaging 19 before they both went down with shoulder injuries.
That's a lot of playing time for coach Terry Stotts to fill, and although he has given some of his other main players more playing time, he has also turned to rookie forwards David Noel and Ersan Ilyasova to pick up a greater share of the load.
For Noel and Ilyasova, it's called "opportunity." It's up to them to seize the moment.
