Williams Sparks Bucks Past Nets

MILWAUKEE, Dec. 23 (AP) -- Mo Williams is on a roll, and so are the rest of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Williams had 32 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, and the Bucks beat the New Jersey Nets 115-104 on Saturday night for their season-high fourth straight victory.

"These are the things we want to do and we're doing it right now,'' said Williams, who is averaging 26.3 points, 7.3 assists and 7.3 rebounds over his last four games.

``We're playing at a high level. I feel good and I'm shooting the ball real well. I still get my teammates involved and that's what I want to do.''

The Bucks shot 55 percent from the floor (43-of-78) and got 21 points from Michael Redd. Milwaukee has won its last six home games.

Rock 'n' roll
Rout of New Jersey fourth victory in a row

Now the fun really begins.

The Milwaukee Bucks, who routed the New Jersey Nets on Saturday night at the Bradley Center, 115-104, have been on the road a lot during the early weeks of the season.

But they haven't seen anything yet.

That's because the team's three-game trip that opens Tuesday in San Antonio begins a brutal stretch in which 14 of 21 games are on the road.

If the Bucks can keep playing as well as they have been lately and make it into February with their heads still above water, they will be in excellent position to make a run at the playoffs, since 22 of their final 34 games will be at home.

Nets can't stop Bucks' attack

MILWAUKEE -- Lawrence Frank went with small in the first game the Nets played without their best big man. The Nets' coach may think against doing it again.

The Nets were throttled, 115-104, by Milwaukee on Saturday night at the Bradley Center, and go into the Christmas break on a two-game losing streak.
