The Brewers finaly Return Home from a long Road trip though it was one that the Brewers play well and it wasn't as long as it could have been or thought it would have been playing real good teams like Detroit and Minnesota.
So the Brewers open on a Rainy Monday night and Roof Closed and the Hot day made it even Hotter in the Stadium as it usely is when the roof is in June or July/August for that case and it was a large Crowd to make it worse but it was layed back kind of crowd that only chear when good things happened. But that usely don't help me for I'm always moving around the stadium as a few innings here and a few inning there but those are the days I'm thankfull for being on a Diet. A year ago when I was 350 lbs days like this used to really mess me up and now that I'm at 280 lbs I notice how much more I can take now. But enough about me for that isn't the story this one for this come with a treat. The Major League debut of a Pitcher that is going to a Star for the Brewers for years to come making it a hip night to be out at the Ballpark and one that any true Brewers fan didn't want to mess and the only downer is that I see the Giants have Tim Lincecum going Tomorrow and I tell you that is a matchup I would of loved to see being the two best Rookie Pitchers to make the Major this year. So how did he do. Well, He pitched well but I think the excitement got to him a bit and he had troble finding the strike zone at times and he made a few mistakes in doing so but he did enough to keep the Brewers in the game but the bats picked up for him as he got hits form all 9 lineup spots including himself hitting a RBI Double. For the Bullpen, Villanueva clearly was himself thinking he had 1 day to much time off. Turnbow pitched good tonight and Cordero made it more exciting then it needed to be but thankfully he got the job done. |

Cordero got awfully lucky yesterday. I think Gallardo got screwed when he walked Bonds after having him 0-2 he threw him 2 pitchers over the corner of the plate that were called balls. it was BS.
I am glad on the other hand that we are facing Lincecum while having our current ace on the mound, instead of the future ace. I am hoping for a W but since I need to gain some ground in the pickem standings, I am going to predict a loss tonight. Man, I really could use a Sheets dominating win in my fantasy league too....
