Post Brewers invite fans to Miller Park for "Arctic Tailgate" party

Quote:
MILWAUKEE -- With temperatures hovering around sub-zero levels recently, it's time to think warm as the Brewers begin the sale of tickets to individual games on Saturday, February 24 at 9 a.m. This year, the team will mark the occasion by inviting fans to come to Miller Park for the Brewers "Arctic Tailgate" party, which will include free merchandise and food as well as a complimentary ticket offer for the first 2,000 fans in line at the Box Office.

"The first day of individual ticket sales is the first official sign of spring in Wisconsin," said Brewers Executive Vice President-Business Operations Rick Schlesinger. "This day has become something of a tradition at Miller Park, and we want to thanks the fans with this party and some unique promotional giveaways."

Quote:
MILWAUKEE -- Single-game Brewers tickets for the 2007 regular season will go on sale at various outlets, including Brewers.com, on Feb. 24, at 9 a.m. CT.
The Brewers are planning an "Arctic tailgate party" on that day to entertain fans who decide to brave the elements at Miller Park.

The first 2,000 fans in line will get a voucher redeemable for two complimentary loge level tickets to either the April 3 or April 4 game vs. the Dodgers with the purchase of two tickets to any 2007 game. Those early birds will also receive a specially produced T-shirt available only to those who attend the event, plus a hot dog (courtesy of Klement's), a soft drink (courtesy of Pepsi) and a bag of chips (compliments of SportService).

Default Contingency plan

Quote:
The Brewers announced that plans to sell tickets to individual games Saturday at Miller Park will go on despite a forecast for bad weather. If there is precipitation of some kind, doors will open at 6:30 a.m. at the Home Plate Gate to allow fans to line up inside the unheated concourse.
