Post Mailbag: Fans line up 2007 Brewers

Quote:
I'm sure you're getting a lot of these lineups, but it is January and we fans are bored. This is my lineup, assuming everyone is healthy and producing (it could happen!):

1. Rickie Weeks, by default.
2. Johnny Estrada is a switch-hitter who hits .300, why not put him in the two hole?
3. Bill Hall is blossoming into a great player. I think he's ready for this challenge.
4. Prince Fielder. Perfect swing and body-type to hit cleanup.
5. Corey Koskie. If healthy, he is a great hitter who can be trusted with runners in scoring position.
6. Geoff Jenkins/Kevin Mench. I would play the matchups to avoid seeing Jenkins strike out foolishly against lefties. I think both should play 80 games or more.
7. Corey Hart is a nice-looking young player. I'm looking forward to watching him this year. I would play Brady Clark once or twice a week.
8. J.J. Hardy is obviously the guy who has the most to prove on the Brewers, among others.

Other bench players:
• Tony Graffanino and Craig Counsell should not be everyday starters.
• Damian Miller should play at least 30 games, because he calls a great game.
• Tony Gwynn Jr. should be in Triple-A, because guys like Hart, Mench, Jenkins and Clark are much more proven.
