Acuna fired up in Venezuela

Ron Acuna is putting on a show in the Venezuelan Winter League.
The 27-year-old right fielder heated up this month, going 14-for-41 with five multi-hit games for Aguilas del Zulia. The latest hot stretch has raised his batting average to .312. He enjoyed his first four-hit game on Dec. 6 and added a three-hit effort on Dec. 2.

Acuna also scored in four of his last five contests, totaling 20 runs scored in 41 games.
