Phoenix - The Brewers just announced that right-hander Carlos Villanueva became the latest player to sign a deal for 2008.

Villanueva spent most of the 2007 season with the Brewers, first in the bullpen and then in the starting rotation. Overall, he was 8-5 with a 3.94 ERA in 59 games (six starts).
