Arrow Fielder will benefit from Howard's victory

Fielder will benefit from Howard's victory - Brewers Blog

Quote:
Phoenix - You can bet that Brewers first baseman Prince Fielder and his agent, Scott Boras, took note of the salary arbitration victory earlier today by Philadelphia first baseman Ryan Howard.

In his first year of eligibility for arbitration, Howard set a record by increasing his salary to $10 million. The Phillies had offered $7 million to Howard, who made $900,000 last season.

Howard batted .268 last season with 47 home runs, 136 RBI, a .584 slugging percentage, 107 walks and a major-league record 199 strikeouts.

Default

Does that change anything?

Relly?

Howard was one of the best players last year and clearly was going to win his arbitration haring and if the Brewers don't sign Fielder and they go to arbitration with him it is a share bet that he will win too.
