Arrow Yost doesn't have heart set

JS Online: Notes: Yost doesn't have heart set

Quote:
Phoenix - Milwaukee Brewers manager Ned Yost said he's still running possible lineups through his mind for the 2008 season.

No matter how it finally shakes out, Yost said his two big boppers - Prince Fielder and Ryan Braun - will have to exercise patience at the plate.

"We've talked about it," said Yost. "It's really, really important for guys like 'Braunie' and Prince to be disciplined hitters at the plate.

"Pitchers are going to go out there, and in the back of their minds, they'd never admit it, but they're going to be very nervous when those two step into the box. So, they're not going to get a lot of good pitches to see."

This one made me laugh.

Just like I said before to the article of Bruan batting behind Fielder was no more offseason Talk. I know that Yost don't have the guts to set a lineup and sticking with it.

Yost changes his mind all the time and I think he likes doing it and I'm sure Ryan will have games where he'll bat behind Fielder but most of them he'll bat ahead of him.
