I talked with Jeff Cirillo on the telephone last night and he revealed that general manager Doug Melvin told him he has no job for him in 2008.

Cirillo, who had a successful second run with the Brewers from 2005-'06 as a reserve infielder, contacted Melvin to see if he might have any interest in the 38-year-old veteran coming back for a third term. Cirillo played with Minnesota and Arizona last year.

It's good to see that the Brewers have become to point that they can do without a player like Cirillo.
