The Brewers offered Clark to the Rockies for Shortstop Clint Barmes and the Rockies went the Brewers to eat $2 Million of Clark's contract. |

What are we trying to do? Get rid of our outfield surplus and stockpile infielders? What we need more than anything is pitching. Strange offer but hopefully it's dead now that the Rockies acquired Willy Taveras for Jennings and have there outfield situation taken care of.

Just an update on that Colorado offer.
I here it has been shot down by Melvin saying he never made an offer. By what I here is that the Denver Post has a different standard for journalism. They happen to like to report fun message board speculation as fact. |
