Arrow Brewers sale of tickets up

JS Online: Brewers sale of tickets up

Quote:
With a winning season in 2007, and changes in the bullpen for 2008, Milwaukee Brewers fans are renewing their season-ticket packages at an impressive rate, according to team officials.

Rick Schlesinger, executive vice president for business operations, said Wednesday that the franchise is inching toward a 90% season-ticket renewal rate. That's the result of a winning season and efforts to sign up season-ticket holders sooner rather than later in the off-season, he said.

"There's no doubt about it, business is great," Schlesinger said. "People are excited about the changes (general manager) Doug Melvin is making."

Not sure what to make of this article. Although it may be a good thing but the January 15 deadline to save on season tickets was set back to November 15 and those who usely wait that would of anyway may have renewed right away to save that extra buck. Myself included. Already payed in full.

Of couse I had 20 Games last season buying the rest at the gate and I have bought 40 Games for this Upcoming season. So it may be or may not be up. I really think it too early to really tell.
