Lightbulb Iguchi's agent expecting offer from Brewers

Iguchi's agent expecting offer from Brewers - Brewers Blog

Quote:
Nashville - I just spoke with Rocky Hall, the agent for free agent infielder Tadahito Iguchi, and he said his meeting today went well with the Brewers. In fact, Hall expects the Brewers to get back to him before the day is over with a two-year offer.

"They said they'd get back to me with an offer," said Hall, who oddly enough, played in the Brewers' farm system in the late '70s. "They said they were working on a couple of other things and would get back to me."

I saw one report that the Brewers also were showing some interest in Aaron Boone, a free agent who played sparingly with Florida last season. I have no idea if that is true or not but general manager Doug Melvin did tell me Tuesday night he liked the way Iguchi plays.
