Dolphins still interested in Trent Green

I like Green as long as he is not a starter! To me it would be redicolous for any team to pursue him as a starter in the NFL. Trent would be a good addition to the Dolphins, in case Daunte goes down. I would wait to see if Green gets released, that is what happened to David Carr.....and I imagine Carr's stock was higher too....

Green wants this deal to hurry up, and they were trying to get the deal done before the draft, but unless it's in the next two hours I don't see it happening during the draft. After the draft maybe, but not before it. Green is a veteran and could really help the offense of the Dolphins who I had actually winning the Wild Card last year, but didn't even get that close to my standards. Green, not Culpepper coukd help them get there...

The Dolphins history of QB's since Dan isn't all that good; in-fact it’s ugly. The way Trent Green played last year makes Drew Bledsoe look like Michael Vick! Green is Mr. Immobile. To me he is one of the most over-rated QB's out there. The Phins should just stick with Dante and that BYU QB and they should be fine. Part of the reason the Dolphins have had rotten luck with QB's is because they are bringing in guys who have played elsewhere and are no longer wanted by their original team. The Dolphins rebuilding process could have been successful a lot sooner if they would have had a homegrown QB. Stay away from Trent Green!
