think along the lines of the Yankees in 2003 or the White Sox in 2005...
who do you think has the best chance of putting some bumper room in between them and 2nd place before the end of April

I'd say the teams most likely to get off to fast starts would be the teams with the most solid 1-4 starters. But last year, the mets bludgeoned everyone to death and basically sealed up the division by June. I think they'll do the same this year, in as much as they beat teams up. I think the division is a little tougher, so I don't see a huge lead developing quite that early.
I also think the Dodgers will jump out to a quick lead in the West. And the Yanks and Sox will jump out ahead of everyone inthe AL East (bold prediction, eh?). I like the Yankees more than their little sisters up north this year though.
