Default Starting a Team

If you could pick one player to start a team with and build aroung who whould that player be?(think of it like a fantasy draft where u have the 1st pick)

I would pick Jose Reyes because of what he does on the basepaths and how much potential he has.

I would pick Derek Jeter

he is a leader, a solid hitter, and he gets on base
Sounds like a perfect man, a man to motivate a team

And while you guys are taking your leaders or your favorites, I'll be over here taking the best.

Albert Pujols thank you very much.

Pujos is good but i rather Reyes no offense. many people are Talking about when Reyes gets older he could have the power to hit 3 which would be great because then you would have speed and power in Reyes.

Reyes has been hitting more and more home runs lately.

Reyes hit for power last year, but that was after a three year fall in which his HR/F% went lower every year. Last year he hit 19 HR with a 10% ratio. Were the first three years in the league a fluke? This year might answer that.

Reyes has change so much from his first three years he would chase every fastball mainly the ones too low and rarely got walk now he is taking a lot more pitches and getting walked more and waitng for his pitch that he could hit easily for at least a double. This year my guess for Reyes will be 23hrs about 75-80 RIBs and about 65 SB
