I don't know if Atlanta is willing to put up the cash especially after they didn't put up the cash for Tom Glavine who wonted less from Atlanta then from NY

Glavine also wanted a no trade clause, something which Atlanta doesn't give to anyone.

that is true with Atlanta not giving players no trade clause that could hurt there chances on getting some players that are looking for it but it could also help them when it comes down to make a big trade and not having to worrying about who they can trade because no one has a no trade clause

Pat Gillick (Phillies GM) won't give a full no trade clause to anyone either.

Never say never if they are in need for a certain postion and a big name player for that postion will sign with you only if he gets a no trade clause then he might change his mind

also the same could be said the other way around any player could change there mind if the cash is on the table and the team has had enough of a signal player
