Everyone who follows baseball except for yourself sees Jackie as a one team player as his previous play was with an unaffiliated team. Same is true for guys that never put on the uniform of the major league club.

i was also thinking about it and i guess Jackie Robinson only because they didn't let him play in the MLB back then so in his case he would be considered as a one team player i guess

I have never before in 30 years being a baseball fan heard anyone say that you weren't a one team player if you were DRAFTED by a different team. That doesn't even have any relevance to most of baseball history, since there wasn't a draft for most of baseball history. Every baseball player has to play for someone else before making the majors - they play for amateur teams, college teams, you name it.
Players have always been credited with playing for just one team if they played for just one MLB team. It's always been understood to mean that, so why change the rules now? |

Well over a third of the players in the Majors weren't drafted.

Many non-drafted players play in the minors, roughly 50% of minor leaguers come from outside of the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico
