Jim Rice will join this list of one team Hall of Fame members, when he gets elected next year

I would still call Smoltz and Bagwell one team players since they were traded as minor leaguers and had zero choice in the move.

If Ichiro stays in Seattle I'd still put an asterisk by his name on the one team list since he played several years in Japan.

Yeah that's true. John Smoltz and Bagwell were involved in the worst trades in the last 20 years.

that is true those are two very bad trades but no one knew that they would turn out to be this good so everyone thouht it was a great trade at the time

so you can't count Bagwell or smoltz as 1 team players

I think you can because Smoltz will always be known as a Brave, and Bagwell as an Astro.

Lest we forget, trading Smoltz resulted in the Tigers winning the 1987 division title; they got Doyle Alexander, who went 9-0 and led them past the Blue Jays. Had they kept Smoltz they would have lost that division title and probably wouldn't have won any other ones, either, even with Smoltz; they were never really close to contention after that, until this year. So it wasn't as bad a trade as people say.

This is true they will be but that doesn't make them 1 team players that same reason Ichrio could never be so as well

If Ichiro is here long enough and gets into the HOF and stays with Seattle, we won't remember what he did in Japan.

That is true but it still wont make him a one team player no matter what he does even though he will be off the M's after this year if they don't do good this season

Then no player is a one team player. Every player played on a team before they played in the majors.

one team means that you were drafted for that team and was never traded or on another team from then on like if the mets drafted you then you were to stay with them all during minors and MLB career

Was Jackie Robinson a one team player?
