only two since FanHome launched....not nearly as dominant as they had been, and also not a model that any other team could follow.

I'm sorry I left for a while. I needed a vaction, and then work changed substantially. I'm over 50 hour weeks, plus two hours a day of commuting time. A few weeks ago I launched my own blog about Seattle Sounders FC and Life in Puget Sound. I won't be by these parts often as my focus has changed. Sorry about the unannounced retirement. |

Red Sox- improved alot, good teams.
They drew alot of interest in breaking the curse. Runner up- Yanks/Braves

So I was reviewing this thread and comparing the teams that I considered strongly in this and none are doing exceptionally well this year.
The Yankees are well back in the division and wildcard. The Braves are back in the division and a contender for the wildcard The Cardinals were another team I thought about in this, and they have severly fallen back to the herd since their championship

The Cardinals need to be considered, even if they are only in Second place right now. They have had an incredible run the past years. I mean, if you are going to mention the Red Sox they were terrible last year.
