When do these come out?
Being a Brewers fan I'm mostly interested in Prince Fielder's MVP chances and Ryan Braun's ROY chances. So who wins what? MVP AL: Alex Rodriguez or Magglio Ordonez? NL: Prince Fielder or Matt Holliday? ROY AL: Daisuke Matsuzaka or uhhh? NL: Ryan Braun or Troy Tulowitzki? Cy Young AL: CC Sabathia, Fausto Carmona or Josh Beckett? NL: Jake Peavy or Brandon Webb?

Dustin Pedroia of the World Champion Boston Red Sox won the American League Rookie of the Year Award, while Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers became the first quasi-Jew to win Rookie of the Year honors.
Bloomberg.com: North American I think the correct choice was made in each case, although Tulowitzki was fairly deserving as well. |

Sabathia pitched 40 more innings than Beckett during the regular season and looked absolutely cooked in the playoffs (to the tune of an 8.80 ERA.) Beckett maintained his strength through the whole season and played a critical role in his team's World Series Championship. I'll trade a tired pitcher/Cy Young Award for an ALCS MVP Award and World Series Championship any day.

Obviously a World Series Championship is better than a Cy Young... No one is here to discredit the almighty Red Sox. Why can't you just say congratulations instead of immediately trying to put your own team on a pedestal? Everyone knows what Beckett did in the postseason. Give C.C. some credit for pitching a great regular season.
