Default MLB playoff predictions

Indians vs. Yankees

Winner: Yankees in 5

Joe Borowski closing? ROTFLMAO! C.C. Sabathia will shut down the Yankees lineup but the rest of the pitching? Remember Fausto Carmona's collapse last year? I do not think he is a big game pitcher. Paul Byrd, Jake Westbrook? Yankees offense has the edge.

Red Sox vs. Angels

Winner: Angels in 5

The series could go either way but I have been more impressed with the Angels this season.

Angels vs. Yankees

Winner: Angels in 5.

NL.....

Phillies vs. Rockies

Winner: Phillies in 5

The Phillies weak starting pitching wont be exposed that much in the playoffs. You wont see Adam Eaton starting, that's for sure.

Cubs vs. D-Backs

Neither the Cubs or D-Backs belong in the playoffs.

Winner: Cubs in 5

Phillies vs. Cubs

Winner: Phillies in 7.

World series: Angels vs. Phillies

Winner......... PHILLIES! Pat Gillick leaves baseball as one of the greatest general managers ever.

It's gonna be the team that wants it the most. The guys who when the chips are down, come up big, The losers will be the teams that don't take it one game at a time, aren't wearing their game faces and instead of just going out there and playing hard for nine innings, they are worrying about the other guys.

The Cubs do not belong in the playoffs.

Padres just do not have the offense.

Are you serious? The Division series is first to 3. That means the series can only go a max of 5 games.

As far as my predictions go, I need to know who is actually playing first.

Okay, now that we know who won the NL East, I'll take the fashionable pick of Philadelphia over Chicago in the NLCS and Angels over Yankees in the ALCS.
The NL is tough to figure tho, as none of the teams appear durable...particularly with bullpens.
This one goes to the AL easily...
Angels win in 5 games. Now excuse me while I go vomit.

I don't think it is much different no matter which of the Rockies or Padres get in
Indians over the Yankees in 5
Carmona and Sabathia are not going to lose 2 of 4

Angels over Red Sox in 5
Just a hunch

Cubs over Diamondbacks in 4
Arizona still inexperienced

Phillies over Rockies or Padres in 4
Phillies on a roll.... though so are the Rockies

ALCS
Indians over the Angels in 6
I love the Sabathia/Carmona duo this much

NLCS
Phillies over the Cubs in 6
Just don't see the Cubs in a good match up here

WS
Indians over the Phillies in 5
I believe the AL simply outclasses the NL this year
