dodgers sign loaiza from oakland a's. Manager Grady Little said he was hoping Esteban Loaiza would pitch a complete-game shutout in his Dodgers debut Monday, but he would settle "for six or seven good innings that give us a chance to win." Loaiza missed four months with injuries to his neck (disk) and knee (arthroscopic surgery) and started only two games prior to being claimed by the Dodgers from Oakland last week.

his first start with the dodgers today went 7 innings, 9 hits, 3 earned runs, 3 k's, and a walk in the dodger's 11-3 win over the padres.
Good signing i think. better than schmidt.
