Game already started, I hate early Sundays after a fun Saturday night...

There is a lineup change today, nothing like making the team worse to try and end a 5 game slide.

Seattle Lineup
Ichiro CF
Gritty Bloomquist 2B
Vidro DH
Ibanez LF
Sexson 1B
Guillen RF
Beltre 3B
Betancourt SS
Burke C

One could wonder why Broussard is on the team if he isn't going to be used.

Angels Lineup
Mathews CF
Cabrera SS
The Mariner Killer RF
Anderson LF
Kotchman 1B
Izturis 3B
Hillenbrand DH
one of the Molinas C (aside: how many of these are there in baseball now?)
Aybar 2B (this isn't the guy the Braves kicked off the team)

The Mariners top 3 went up and down quietly, with nary a worry for Edwin.

Gary HGH Mathews led off with a double.

Well, Weaver isn't having control issues today.

Stuff issues, though. He's throwing a lot of hittable strikes. As a flyball pitcher that's bad times as his hittable pitches are less likely to go for outs and more likely to be for extrabases. At least HoRam and Miguel are have the theory right, whilst they struggle.

Well, now we are into the bullpen early again. If there is one thing that has impressed me it has been the performance of the pen over this now six game skid.
