2007 Predictions & Power Rankings

Jeff Passan and Tim Brown of Yahoo sports have posted their 2007 predictions.

Included in them are names such as Brandon Wood, John Lackey, and Jered Weaver. In addition, they predict the order of finish for the 6 ML divisions. I'll let you read to see who they pick in the AL West. Check it out and make your own predictions here!

SI.com has posted their updated power rankings after one week:

1 -- Los Angeles Angels
The Angels are making the geniuses at Sports Illustrated look ... well, pretty smart. The Halos made a statement with an opening-series sweep of the Rangers, then held their own in a tight Oakland series. John Lackey has been money in his first two starts (0.75 ERA) and Vlad already has three homers and 10 RBIs. Watch out, AL West.

Foxsports also has their power rankings up:

7 Angels 10 (+3) 7/10 – Jered Weaver's first rehab start went well, and he'll make one more before returning from the DL on the 16th of this month. Bartolo Colon, meanwhile, is two rehab starts away from the rejoining the rotation. If the rotation stays healthy, the Angels will run away with the AL West.
