Default Physioc & Hudler get less air time

According to the LA Times this morning, the Angels and FSN have decided to split the Angels broadcasts up between two teams instead of the single team that has been used in the past. Going forward, 100 of the 150 televised games will still be done by Steve Physioc and Rex Hudler, while the remaining 50 games will be done by Jose Mota and Mark Gubicza (with Mota doing the play-by-play and Gubicza doing the color commentary).

Personally, I think this is great news, as Mota and Gubi are two guys who I don't mind listening to at all. Hudler tends to get on your nerves and Physioc sometimes just sounds like a complete boob.

I've always liked Hudler when he does interviews, but I might have the advantage of getting him in small doses.

Guess this will cut into my Physioc Drinking Game. Rules are simple: Everytime he repeats himself, take a shot. Everytime he mentions the 2002 World Series, take two shots. Caution: Time limit 3 hours or 10 innings, whichever comes first. I almost died during that 18 inning game in Toronto a couple of seasons ago.

Welcome to the board, Downing5! (love the name, btw, one of my favorites)

At that rate, you'll never see the 5th inning of any Angels game. Seriously, I like the guy, but if I had to hear he and Hudler for all 150 games this season, it was going to get ugly.

Bedir, he's a very......energetic.....personality. In small doses, I think he does a great job, but over the course of an entire season, he just wears down your sanity. He can start off on a tangent and not come back to the actual game for several minutes. And, the fact that his partner is useless, it makes it really tough to watch. I think this is a good development for the team, to say the least.
