Napoli fit and trim for 2007 season

Nice to see Naps trim some of the weight off and add muscle for the 2007 season, but I see him splitting time with Jeff Mathis this season if he struggles to maintain a +.250 average. Scioscia likes Mathis, from what I can see.

You really think they are going to carry three catchers this year? I can not see them doing that, with the OF options and DH options we are carrying.

Nope, I still see one of them getting traded.....right before the season starts. I think Jose Molina is guaranteed a spot, and Napoli is the one that I can see being moved. Although, if they don't move him, I'm pretty sure he still has options available, so they could send him down.

By the way, nice to see you here, Haul! Great posters are always welcome, but don't ask me for a fancy title, I don't have that kind of power...lol

Thanks Saw. Glad to be hear, as you can tell I can't talk enough Angels. I am gettinng antsy for the season to start.

Napoli has options left but I do not see him getting sent down he has a head start on Mathis as it is. His power and OBP are assets to the club.

I am not sure what is out there they could trade for. At this point I think we are in a wait and see until july......
