Boy, what a waste of Alberto Callaspo. I'm usually pretty supportive of the front office decisions, but this one just flat out sucked. Callaspo will be starting on a MLB team soon, and we'll have absolutely nothing to show for him.

Bulger had the misfortune to have a serious collision in a game with a teammate; he wound up on the DL through the end of the season. He may not be fully recovered and a decision had to be made to clear a spot on the roster. Bulger may have had no options left.
