D-Backs are dangling Chad Tracy to the Angels..they want a frontline starter for him in exchange. Perhaps some kind of deal can be worked out in a 2 for 2 or 3 for 3 type trade.
Tracy would solve the void at 3B. I would offer Escobar not Santana as rumored. \\What do YOU think? |

Tracy's a tough one to figure out. If he were to put up numbers closer to his 2005 season, he'd be a great pickup. But, Escobar or Santana are too much to give up for him, IMO. I'd offer Saunders and maybe Mathis or Aybar, depending on the D'Back's needs.

I wouldn't give up Santana for Tracy; Mathis would be a good trade because Arizona just traded Johnny Estrada (can't remember if they got a catcher back in the deal). And I'd prefer to keep Saunders (gotta start hording the lefties), but with the middle infield already clogged I could see Aybar going, too.

No worries, punxsy, I saw the report earlier too, but we should all try to remember to post a link if we read a report. Here's one on the Tracy blurb.
