It was a poor concept in the 70's and 80's, and it's even worse now. Men should not wear baby blue clothing.
![]() "Other Major League teams didn't like them, thought they were effeminate," White said on Thursday. At least they aren't wearing baby blue pants. I understand the Blue Jays are, though. That's to be expected. Canadians. ![]()

I'm on board with it. The fans have been crying out (for the most part) for the powder blues and the Royals listened. Hey, maybe they'll even get a highlight on SportsCenter to show off the unis. Without them, we'd probably just have a line score to look forward to during the last 10 seconds of the show.

Bah. Let the fans cry. We can't give the fans everything they want, can we?
I'll just have to wait and see it in a game. It might look different then. I'm glad the Royals have signed Jose Guillen. Any guy that's got a bigger gut than me can't be all bad.

Well, that and he'll miss the first 15 games

I was never a big fan of the old baby blues in the first place, and frankly, these new ones look much worse. Fortunately, I don't really care what color uniform these guys play in. There are so many retro/memorial jerseys worn in MLB games these days that it's kind of become pointless.
