Holmes will not return to Chiefs in '06

This isn't unexpected news, but figured I'd toss it up here as I just saw it on the AP. What do you guys think the reality of him returning in 07 like the article hints too? With Carl Peterson you never can really tell.

Thanks for posting that, I just saw it myself. I would much rather have him wait it out and get better then risk enhancing the injury. Preist is an amazing runner, and even after sitting out so long, I'm sure when he comes back we will be able to use him in some capacity.

If he comes back in '07, he'll be a solid backup to LJ.
With the loss of Richardson this past offseason, I'd expect to see a lot of the 2 back formation between LJ and Priest. Unstoppable.
