Default Colts RB Rhodes arrested for drunk driving

Quote:
INDIANAPOLIS (TICKER) -- Indianapolis Colts running back Dominic Rhodes was arrested early Tuesday morning on a drunken driving charge.

Rhodes was pulled over after driving a truck more than 25 miles per hour over the speed limit on Interstate 65, according to an Indiana State police spokesman.

In 2002, Rhodes was charged with domestic battery but avoided prosecution.

Might hurt the ammount of money he will earn in free agency this season. Bad decision by Dominic, luckily no one was hurt fortunantly and hopefully Rhodes learned a lesson.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Colts running back Dominic Rhodes's initial court appearance on a drunken driving charge was postponed to Monday after prosecutors did not receive paperwork from the arresting officer.

The officer did not turn in completed documents as expected Wednesday morning, said David Wyser, chief trial deputy for the Marion County prosecutor's office.

An Indiana State Police trooper arrested Rhodes, 28, about 3 a.m. Tuesday after he was stopped for driving a GMC truck 81 mph in a 55-mph zone on Interstate 65 in Indianapolis' far northwest side, authorities said. Rhodes was released on his own recognizance later in the day.

His court appearance was postposed, and the articles goes on to say that he will be treated as a first time offender.
No time in jail-to 1 years behind bars is the possible conviction. Proably just a fine I figure for Dominic...
