Default Pacers Look to Rebound Against Clippers

Quote:
The Los Angeles Clippers look to pull even on their season-high seven-game road trip when they face the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.

Los Angeles (25-25) had won six of its last seven games before beginning this stretch of seven straight road contests against Eastern Conference opponents. The Clippers, though, have stumbled away from Los Angeles, going 2-3 on the trip with matchups at Indiana and Detroit remaining.

The Clippers lost their first seven road games of the season and are just 8-17 away from Staples Center. They hope that Friday's 90-89 comeback win over Philadelphia can help them turn the corner.

Default O’Neal Helps Pacers Roll Past Clippers

Quote:
Mike Dunleavy, playing against his father's Los Angeles Clippers for the first time since he was traded from Golden State to Indiana last month, hit nine of 12 shots, scored 20 points and had three steals in the Pacers' 94-80 victory on Sunday.

Jermaine O'Neal had 21 points and set an Indiana franchise record for career blocked shots as the Pacers snapped a three-game losing streak.

"I have mixed emotions,'' Dunleavy said of playing against the team coached by his father, Mike Dunleavy Sr. "I wanted to beat him real bad, but I also want to see them do well. I hope they win the rest of their games, but the most important thing is our team.''

Default Sorry, Dad, it's just my job

Feast or famine, with nothing in between.

That's what Indiana Pacers swingman Mike Dunleavy expected when he went against his father and Los Angeles Clippers coach Mike Sr. on Sunday afternoon.

Fortunately for the Pacers, Dunleavy feasted.

On a day where the Pacers saw small forward Danny Granger taken off on a stretcher, Dunleavy followed his best game as a Pacer on Friday by scoring 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting in a 94-80 victory at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Default It's one big struggle for Kaman, Clippers

Quote:
INDIANAPOLIS — On the Clippers' long list of problems, the poor performance of center Chris Kaman might have moved to the top Sunday afternoon in a 94-80 loss to the Indiana Pacers in front of 12,489 at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Kaman continued to struggle on a disappointing trip for the Clippers, missing 11 of 14 shots from the field. He scored 10 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, but Kaman's inefficiency played a big part in the Clippers being out of sync on offense.

Default Dunleavy Jr. does number on Clippers

The Pacers took control with a 16-0 run at the end of the second quarter and built their lead to 23 points early in the third period.
