Tinsley's playing streak ends at 40

The streak is over at 40 games for Indiana Pacers point guard Jamaal Tinsley.

Tinsley, who has battled numerous injuries and illnesses over the past three seasons, came into the season wanting to play in 82 games for the first time in his career.

A sore back and sinus infection forced Tinsley out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls.

Tinsley missed the team's morning shootaround and arrived at Conseco Fieldhouse, where he put on his game shorts only to come back several minutes later and change his clothes.
