Carlos hit 3 homeruns yesterday including a grandslam. The more impressive feat of his homers were that the first was to right center, the second was left center, and the last was in the center. He has power to all the fields and it was shown in this game.

Man I wish Carlos was still on the Brewers for that same reason. He is a player that can carry a team on his back not just when he is hot but when he is just doing what he normally does. I guess this is huge for you guys since Lance Berkman isn't hitting right now. Are you Astros fans pretty high on what Luke Scott can do in RF?

Carlos Lee has got several key hits this year and has helped us win ballgames. His defense has been ok, nothing special, but he doesn't miss-play balls.
As to Luke Scott, he was great in the last half of 2006. I don't think anyone is going to expect him to be a 350 hitter, but I think he will be solid with an average around 300 with approximately 20 homeruns. Not a star, but a solid player. |
