Default Will it start again?

The first game of the year and Brad Lidge blows a save opportunity with a homer with 2 outs in the 9th. Will this be a continuous trend for Lidge this season? I hope they bench Lidge for Wheeler.

They should have traded him in my opinion. I think a change of scenery would do him wonders.

He Belongs in a small market town like KC or Tampa Bay. If there is any talk of him going to Boston or NY, he'd have a complete melt down.

I could see a trade with him going to Tampa since they need a closer. Or he could reunite with Dotel and be the setup man in KC.

Hey you guys need some starting pitching? I'll take Lidge anyday over what the Phillies have now in their pen. Maybe you can take Jon Lieber off our hands.

DAMNIT! I was counting on a save from him last night! I hope he can turn it around.

While the Astros bullpen has been pretty bad, they haven't helped themselves at the plate either. Scoring 2 runs a game is not going to be enough.

I totally agree. Lance Berkman and Carlos Lee are both hitting in the sub .100 avg. They need to step up and carry our offense. We will only get 2 runs a game if Lance and Carlos hit like this, but I expect them to turn it on. That is when we will be averaging 4-5 runs a game.
