Aucoin to Calgary

Rumors have been swirling that the Chicago Blackhawks are going to move defensiveman Adrian Aucoin and ship him out to Calgary in exchange for little to nothing. Tsn.ca's been reporting it and Spectors Hockey has been all over this the last few days.

To see Calgary further solidify defense is ridiculous. Not saying this is a bad dea... I'm just overly impressed with how the Flames are stocked on D.

Bad trade for Calgary. I do not like Aucoin at all, you can pretty much stick a fork in him because he is a band-aid. This also brings in a 4 million dollar salary which gives them less money to sign free agents. I'm surprised Sutter would do this!

Aucoin does have ties to Keenan but Sutter isn't one to be pushed around. I would have told Keenan no if I was Sutter because Aucoin is not even worth $2,000,000 let alone $4,000,000!!! Good on Chicago for ripping of Calgary though.
