LMAO
Not happening. Tampa Baty has put WAAY too much into Steve Stamkos -- Seen Stamkos? for example. They are flash advertising his selection in and around town with T-shirts and other such things. They are not going to trade the pick unless it's something that cannot be overlooked -- this would be like Calgary offering Ignila and Phaneuf for the pick. Which won't be happening either. And WHEN did the CBC report this "major rumor" and how come it isn't in the press if the CBC reported it? Methinks you are using wishfult hinking here.

Ya there is no way in heck that the Lighting would do that. Stamkos is just too good for that deal.

The guy is named after Don Cherry, and has 2 posts, which pretty much kills all credibility he might have had.
Seriously, Tampa Bay might be tempted to trade their pick for a "can't say no" package, but who in the NHL is ready to give that to them? |
