Playoff Poll? Interested?

Ok come playoff time in the NHL I'm thinking about putting a 2007-08 playoff pool together on Fanhome.

What it would work like is:

I would put all the matchups of round one up on a thread and you would be able to pick who you think would win each series. You would have to make all of your first round picks by the start of the first round.

I would then calculate the First Round scores for each member.

I would then do the matchups of the second round once they came available and then you would choose by the start of the second round.

I would then add the second round scores to your first round scores.

I would do this scenario for the following rounds as well.

I would do this scenario of picking every round instead of having to make all of your picks at the start of the playoffs because I feel that it would be a closer race then having one person knocked out because they had a bad round one.

The scoring scenario that I would go by for this playoff poll would be:

5 points for a series that you picked right.
2 extra points would be awrded if you could guess how many games the series would take.

EX.

Detroit- 4
Anaheim- 2

Say that was one of your prediction's. Say Detroit won the series. You would get 5 points beacuse you guessed that they would win. Say that your prediction was right and Detroi won the series 4-2 than you would be awarded 2 extra points.

At the end of the playoffs I would add up everyone's score and whoever had the highest score would win. There is no prize for this pool but there is also no fee to enter. Anyone can join.

So what i am asking from you right now is to tell me how I could improve this playoff pool. If you are interested in particpating in the playoff pool just sign yourself up in a reply on this thread. This is just to get an idea of how many people may participate. If I go through with this playoff pool I will then ask for partcipants and then you will be able to sign up for sure.

I am also asking if someone would like to help me with this pool thay can just reply in the thread and tell me that they would like to help.

I know that I have made this rather confusing so if you have any questions feel free to ask them in this thread or you can also PM me.
