Default Hossa vs. Heatley

This week it is:

Marian Hossa #18 RW

Atlanta

DOB: Fri, Jan 12, 1979

Age: 28

Place of Birth: Stara Lubovna, Czech. (now Slovakia)

HT: 6-1 WT: 210

Shoots: L

NHL Seasons: 9

Drafted by Ottawa in 1997 (1/12).

Assets

Is very shifty, extremely hard to contain in the offensive zone and even harder to knock off the puck. Has great hockey sense and a fine set of hands. His shot is explosive, which he seems to get off from anywhere.

Flaws

Needs to assert himself physically to be more effective. Must also become more of a go-to player in the playoffs.

Career potential

Franchise right wing.

Dany Heatley #15 LW/RW

Ottawa

DOB: Wed, Jan 21, 1981

Age: 26

Place of Birth: Freiburg, West Germany

HT: 6-3 WT: 216

Shoots: L

NHL Seasons: 5

Drafted by Atlanta in 2000 (1/2).

Assets

Is one of the most dangerous offensive players in the NHL. Excels at setting up linemates but can also bury his chances. Has the size to compete in high-traffic areas.

Flaws

Can be guilty of being a little too unselfish at times, passing up a better scoring chance in the process.

Career potential

Franchise winger.

Of these two i will probably go with Heatley. He just scores so much that you have to give the edge to him.
