Worth picking up? Certainly. How much i would play him would be on a team/league specific basis.

I can't give advice for the points league, as I've overreacted and sat guys that then put up great numbers (I missed Ichiro's 4-5 1HR game).
I'm struggling learning how points effect the decision making process.

I LOVE the guy and was praying the Braves would take him in the Rule5 draft. The Reds got a stud for the future, but the future wont start untill next year or untill JR goes down for the season.
If you have a spot on your roster ( Bench ) that you can keep Hamilton on untill he makes the move to a full time starter then deft do it. But if you cant afford to have a dead spot for 3 games during the week then I dont suggest picking him up. Because more than likely he will only play 2 game a week at the most.

Well with Edwin Encarnacion struggling, is it possible we see Freel continue to platoon at 3rd with him, while Hamilton stays in CF? Or if they moved Adam Dunn back to 1B, and put one of the two, I'm assuming Hamilton, in left....just a thought. Personally I hope they don't do either of these two things as a Brewers fan, much like how the Cubs keep Soriano out of RBI situations at the top of the lineup.....but fantasy wise it would be nice to see them make these moves....
