World Baseball Classic

I was looking through the World Baseball Classic last year and noticed some very interesting names on the list, for their age, and the type of fantasy season that just wasn't quite up to their standards and are now coming at a cheaper rate this season....

SP Freddy Garcia
SP Javier Vazquez
RP Francisco Cordero
OF Bobby Abreu
OF Manny Ramirez
OF Vladimir Guerrero
3B Alex Rodriguez
SS Miguel Tejeda
1B Carlos Delgado
C Ramon Hernandez

Most of them started off the year like they normally would and then began to slump and struggle down the stretch as they were likely worn out.

I have my big draft tonight and was wondering if you think I should take this into strong consideration for some of these guys like Manny Ramirez in the 2nd round, or if ARod falls to me in the first...and even grabbing Freddy Garcia or Javier Vazquez....thoughts?

Freddy Garcia is in his contract year, so he should have a good year if healthy, but he's likely to start the season on the DL.

Done. At least he is listed as being on the DL in Yahoo Fantasy Baseball.

It's weird, he has not officially been placed on the disabled list. I see that he's on the DL on yahoo fantasy baseball but I think they jumped the gun.
