Yahoo 12 Team 5x5 Roto
C Victor Martinez (4) 1B Derrek Lee (3) 2B Josh Barfield (13) SS Hanley Ramirez (2) 3B Morgan Ensberg (14) OF Delmon Young (6) OF Nick Swisher (8) OF Nick Markakis (11) UTIL OF Curtis Granderson (15), SS Bobby Crosby (16), 3B Alex Gordon (17), OF Brad Hawpe (18), C Paul Lo Duca (21) SP Johan Santana (1) SP Ben Sheets (7) RP Johnathan Papelbon (5) RP Chad Cordero (9) P Rich Harden (10) P Chris Capuano (12) P Dan Wheeler (19), Cliff Lee (20) I figure if Sheets and Harden stay healthy I'll dominate 4 of the 5 categories and I'll be up there in S's as well. I just have to play my lineup well.

B+ Your pitching is flat out excellent you have alot of talent with the starters.
Your relievers are solid too, boy your pitching gets an A.... However I dont think your batting is the best....You do have a alot of young guys that may pan out, but there are a lot of question marks surrounding them. Nice 3rd basemen though, your biggest weakness I think is outfield.

I agree with Jose. You do have alot of guys that you hope pans out. I think Hawpe could be a sleeper this year and hit 30-35 homeruns in that little league field. Pitching is great though. A for pitching, B- for your hitting, so I will agree with Jose. B+ is accurate.

The OF's looked absolutely terrible by the time I got around to them, so I went with guys I was hoping would explode.....I had to take Delmon Young there because of that, and then I took Swisher right away because he is my consistancy (that's scary when a second year guy is your consistancy I know lol) but I think Hawpe and Granderson could help a lot with that. There are still some vets on FA like Moises Alou that I can pickup if my OF isn't panning out. I expect Hanley Ramirez to be the #2 SS if not challenge for #1, and Derrek Lee has every reason to return to form if not better with Soriano in the lineup. I also plan on trying to deal Lo Duca right before the All Star break...if I can find a fool.

I'm not feeling the Granderson thing.... I looked into him early before drafts... but knocked him off my late round sleeper picks in favor of ones like Ethier and Victorino
Also... keep an eye on Ensberg.... if he starts off slow, he won't be on Houston's 3B corner for long.... I don't see him as a top 15 3B this year at all... hate to say it but the completely unproven Gordon may be the better play B..... love the pitching... like Hawpe and LoDuca as emergency backups (with Hawpe probably cracking your starting lineup).... just be on the watch for hot starts for 3Bmen and OF's on waivers

I don't think Ensberg will be the 3B by June, but that's just a hunch. For all we know he can make the AllStar team. Your pitching is excellent. I really like Capuano and Sheets, but Papelbon will lose more games than he wins. Nice team BMW, but you'll feel your lack of offence. Hope I'm wrong.
