Default Alex Gordon?

How high is everyone on him? I have been noticing in some of my leagues lately he has been going as early as the 10th round and in other leagues he doesn't get drafted. What numbers do you guys think he will put up this year? And is he the best sleeper out there?

He's a good sleeper... but unknown how much he will actually play... and he will not have much help in the KC lineup when he does...

Yes... he could be Albert Pujols meets David Wright at 3B..... BUT... I don't see it this season

We'll see. I wouldn't go into the season with Gordon as your primary 3B, but if you can draft him late and sit him behind your starter, he shows some fantastic potential. For the Royals to move Teahen off of 3B and into the OF, they had to believe that Gordon would be more than acceptable at the position.

I wouldn't put him in the top tier of 3B's quite yet, but I would put him in the middle of the pack, especially since KC just confirmed he will be their everyday third basemen.

I only have him in one of my leagues this year, and that's because it was an autodraft and I ended up with Shea Hillenbrand at third base. So since I was able to get Gordon as a FA, I figured he was a better choice than Mr. Play for Yourself.

Hey Goose: I would take a chance on Gordon anyday, besides Gordon will probably end up with more homeruns, more RBI. Hillenbrand can hit for average that's about it, but doesn't do much else.

If Alex Gordon is a "sleeper", your whole league is in a coma.

By most measures, he's the number one prospect in all of baseball, AND he already has a starting job. What more do you want, fireworks?

He is not generally drafted in the first 15 rounds by anyone except people who reach too soon for players. I consider anyone draftable in the later rounds as a sleeper, especially when unproven at the ML level. So I would not complain too much about the term sleeper, especially when it was only announced a week or so ago that he actually did have the starting job for the beginning of the season (unlike Delmon Young, for example)

I drafted him in the 9th or 10th, I cant remember which.

The kid is a freakin stud, he is David Wright with more power and a better average. He will hit 25 plus HR's this year, steal 15-20 bases and knock in 90 plus RBI's.
