I am going to do this one a little different... I am not going to post my team and ask for thoughts..... This time I am going to post the draft results of all the teams. I would like to see which team people think is the best, and I would also like to see people try and guess which team is mine. I think some people (Bryan) may almost inherently know because of my drafting style and amount of time I have talked to them.... but let's take a crack at this... And yes... this was a live draft. This group of people are from old baseballboards or the original Fanhome and it started off as just a league for bragging rights between the posting regulars. We've been doing it ever since. These people do talk a lot of baseball, and this is usually a competitive league, especially with it being a bit more detailed in scoring.

I knew immediately which team was yours, but that's just because we've had extensive talks about who to take around what part of the draft.
Team A got a couple players I just absolutely love in Pujols, Ramirez, Weaver, Rios, and Hudson, but I think they overpaid for quite a few players on their draft, Daisuke in particular. Team B started out so strong and then filled out his roster with a lot of aging players. Team C....I like Ian Kinsler and Dontrelle a lot. It seems there is a heavy trend of overpaying for players that aren't head and shoulders above their peers...Aramis Ramirez, Tom Gordon, Aaron Harang come to mind... Team D is probably my favorite because they have a lot of players I would draft. I wonder about Gagne and Chipper Jones, and at first thought Cordero wasn't a hot pick, then I realized Tom Gordon went 2 full rounds ahead of him, quite a value at 10. Team E might have had a better team had they let Yahoo or whatever autopick for them.... Team F is counting on a few key guys to carry the load offensively with Manny, Helton, Tejada, Cano and Giambi...the rest of the offense is lame and the pitching looks very hit or miss. Team G is very solid, I really like this team, they are very solid and consistant in the front half of the draft, and to grab Crosby, Prior and Lowry at the end of the drat gives them a lot of potential. Team H obviously went heavy hitting, I dont think he got the bargains that Team G did though. I don't like how his entire staff is young up and comers...you gotta have an ace, and Clemens and Wood don't count. Team I is too old, and drafted guys too early.... Team J seems to have a lot of do-it-all kind of guys...I really love his drat with CC, Sizemore, Wright, Figgins, Hall, and to get Oswalt and Big Z as well...wow. I would rank the winners #1 Team J #2 Team G #3 Team D and the Losers #1 Team I #2 Team E #3 Team F I'm not going to say which team I think is yours so others can have fun guessing, I wouldn't want to ruin the fun as the first reply!

Team A
Got some nice players and got some fine bargins but Reaching is a problem for him in some cases. He started off strong but his picking become averge the deeper it got into the draft. Team B Nice, First 12 Rounds was perfect. Team B know where every player should be drafted in the first half and got as much as he possably could get. For the secound half it was solid although he don't know too many of the hiden gems are down there. Team C This teams is a little bit all over the place. He made some good value Picks and some Reaches. A few star players and a few possable class B gems but a few injury prone players and some vets that might be good but more likely will disapoint you. Team D Simply, This guy has it together. He got the best guys he could get in the early rounds and he know all the best hiden gems in the late rounds. Team E Oh, Boy This team is so bad that I'm just going to skip it. Team F Some nice players, Some nice Gems, But Some so-so players. So an Average Team. Team G Too much risk with Injury Prone Players that may or may not be worth it anymore and alot of vets that will give you what they will give you without much hope of something more to make a diference. Team H Some Nice Bats in the early rounds and few pitchers in the middle rounds but an Averge Team in a whole. Team I Got 2 Nice Hitters to Start off with. Reached far too much for Closers. Took overrated hitters in the middle and finished off with not much at all. Team J Is alright, Got some good value but did take some players I rather not have but will be an alright team I guess. |

hmmm... Prior just got dropped in this league too.... (I guess that tells you I am not the team who has it listed as picking Prior)...
Need to debate whether to take a flyer on him

If I were you I would take a flyer on him, you have some solid front end pitching and even though you do have one injury risk at SP already, if either of them turned out, or if both did, you would easily take 4 categories.

I'm thinking of doing it.... putting him on DL as soon as possible, and re-picking up whomever I drop to get him
