Um... more insight please.... if this is a 12 team league, you pulled a miracle, for there is NO way if you drafted K-Rod in the 2nd, that you would ever get ARod, Teix, Young, Holiday, and Sheets... unless the people you are playing with are brain dead and don't deserve to be playing anyway.... if this is an 8 team league, your team does not look very hot...
How many teams, draft position, rounds picked, draft position, roto or h2h, inning or game limits, etc???? All have a bearing when analyzing a team

I'm assuming that it is a 7 inning minimum, because limit would be, retarded. With there being 7 hitting categories, and 6 pitching (CG's is a ridiculous category) I would trade a pitcher for an improvement at 2B.
For a 12 team league, your team seems loaded, especially considering you messed up in the 2nd...are you a Brewers fan? You have Fielder, Sheets, Capuano, and Bush...just thought it was interesting...they are the top ones on that team, but weeks when they have multiple days off is gonna be killer.

Your preference must always be in relation to your scoring categories.... taking all into account, and using the 3 year historical stats and this year's projections to weigh against those categories.... Brian Roberts, for example, in a 5x5 league is pretty valuable... in a league with OPS or TB, maybe not as valuable....
I do not understand your 7 inning limitation... do your starters stats not count in any game where they do not pitch 7 innings?? If so, I have never seen this used before at all... and I also have to agree with my friend BMW... CG's as a category is pretty useless in today's game

Sorry for taking longer then usely to give my option but I just couldn't be around the last few days.
But you got some good advice anyway. I think DiamondDave cover it pritty good. But it is a nice team. You have some nice hitters although I'd get raid of adam dunn. He is a named player but he is a first half player and you should get raid of him before he has a chance to disapoint you in the secound half. You got some nice unproven Pitchers that prove themself this season but your be alright if a few of them do but be curefull with who you start tell you know what ones will. |

the 7 innings limit is only for the whole week...so i didnt start anyone of my pitchers...in a week and they went 6.9 innings i would lost the category....so the opinion on my team is to get brian roberts...and trade adam dunn...what about a top flight pitcher:?

The 7 Inning thing completely blows my mind....it just doesnt make sense...why wouldnt you just draft Johan Santana and then all hitters if you can only pitch 7 innings anyway....I like Rickie Weeks a lot as a breakout this year, but odds are the person who drafted him, does as well...that and you have enough Brewers.
I'm not real high on Roberts, I prefer a younger player with a chance to breakout like a Josh Barfield who can be had cheaply.

It seems to me that if it is a 7 inning minimum, you would take Santana and 2 top line closers and ignore pitchin from then on. If Santana is not available, come back with Carpenter or Oswalt in the 3rd. All you need is one really good starter.
