In parenthesis you will see the round drafted... I was 6th pick in the odd rounds, 7th in the even ones

C - Joe Mauer (3)
1B - Mark Teixeira (2)
2B - Brian Roberts (5)
3B - Alex Rodriguez (1)
SS - Edgar Renteria (13)
OF - Rocco Baldelli (7), Nick Markakis (10), Michael Cuddyer (16)
UTIL - Aubrey Huff (17)

Bench - Jeremy Hermida OF (18), Edwin Encarnación 3B (19), Shane Victorino OF (21)

SP - Jake Peavy (4), Ben Sheets (6), Josh Beckett (12), Rich Harden (14), Dave Bush (20)
RP - Chris Ray (8), Chad Cordero (9), Brad Lidge (11), Joel Zumaya (15)

Had to go a little earlier than planned on RP, as they were flying off the shelves, but I think I got good value picks on them instead of wasting picks in rounds 1-5 on them like many teams...... I believe I got steals on Beckett and Harden in the late middle rounds... the risky picks at the end in Encarnacion, Victorino, and Hermida are of course risks, but each with big upside on the bench.... OF is weak, and heavily reliant on luck, but some well rounded players in some good situations....

Worst pick - Baldelli - OF's were flying off the shelves UBER quick in this draft (as seen by the types of pitchers that were there in the middle and late rounds).... 7 in a row were picked right in front of me and I had to take something. Was not about to reach and risk without potential though

Best pick - Tie between Beckett in the 12th and Harden in the 14th... I don't think there is a real explaination necessary
Dave, I think your team looks good. I think you're a little weak in the OF, but that's obviously because of the run on good OF's. If Hermida and Markakis develop a little more power this season, Tex and ARod should help make up for some of the lack of power out there. However, your pitching staff is very strong and Harden was a great pick in the 14th round. He's the type of guy you want to watch, and if you're still looking for OF power by mid-season, you may be able to get a stud OF for Harden, right before Harden starts to experience fatigue.

I really think you should look to upgrade at SS, too, but overall I think you're in fairly good shape.

Well Dave Good news as I'm trying keep up with an idea of where the players are going in drafts and those 3 outfielders have come up a bit so they don't look as much of a reach as they did a few days ago.

So not bad and I would say you are clueless. I can see you are a Good and that you could challage a few teams. There no question about that. But the thing is you still could be better by being informed.

The point is to get the point where you don't have reach and get as much you can out of the draft. I can put together a team and a good one out of players that is available after the first 200 picks in most leagues.

Hey theres an idea you can learn a thing or two from. Lets see what you can do with that. Lets see what you can come up with. It might be fun and interesting to see.

I don't mean anything about it. I trying to push you to get better. That what was my goal from the start to try and pull everyone up to my leval.

I'm really interested in seeing what you can do with that challage and it is a chance of you learning the players that could be a diference makers in your deeper leagues.

Sure you don't have to but it is a simple challage and it would be nice to see and who knows you may get a few out me that you have thought about.

quit your Napoleonic complex

You're no freaking expert... you're acting more like a big headed teenager than someone who's 36.... maybe you should then also worry about some basic spelling classes before you talk down to someone

Alright then. If you don't want to do it I'm not going to hold you too it.

But my record speaks for itself. 18 Championships in 4 Years of playing Fantasy Sports and 8 of them have been in the last year.

I know I'm out there pritty far but that is what makes me so good. It's my all out presentence.

I know I can come on strong sometimes or my spelling isn't always the best but you shouldn't take anything from it for my ways although isn't always understand at first fact does work.

So I'm sorry if you feel I came on too strong. It's not the first Time it's happen but if you trust I know what I'm doing I can help.

I was curious, because I am still relatively new to Fantasy baseball, this being my 4th year, 8 leagues total (3 last year), 2 Championships so far...and umm...I cannot put togather a good team with players that are available after the first 200 picks...in my past draft the best team I could get would have been something like....

Paul Lo Duca
Chad Tracy
Mark Loretta
Ian Kinsler
Jorge Cantu
Jhonny Peralta
Morgan Ensberg
Mark Teahan
Josh Willingham
Aubrey Huff
Curtis Granderson
Moises Alou

Derek Lowe
Kevin Millwood
Joe Blanton
Mark Buerhle
Anibal Sanchez
Zach Duke
Joel Pineiro
Dan Wheeler

and quite frankly...that team would be heavily in last place in any league...therefore qualifying it as not a "good" team....

Well, Atless someone took my challage. Theres a few guys there BW that would make it in the top 200 but I'll let that pass but interesting anyway.

Chad Tracy: Nice pick though there a few bettter.

Ian Kinsler: He's one of them but a nice plus guy.

Mark Teahan: And Another.

Curtis Granderson: He is a guy that I would include in my list.

Anibal Sanchez: Another guy I would put on my list.

I could not possibly care less how many alleged championships you have won or whatever...... again... you are no damn expert and have no business (especially as a mod) talking down to or insulting anyone like you have been doing....

I trust the braggings of any internet poster about as far as I can throw my car....

All I can say is I posted in here to start conversation and to get OPINIONS.... not to be insulted..... I've been playing Fantasy Baseball since the days of graph paper, the Tuesday and Wednesday USA Today (as the AL complete stats came out on Tuesdays and the NL stats on Wednesdays), and a calculator.... I've been playing in one same league since 1992 with people who are really into the league (ex-Army buddies).... I won't sit here and brag of how many victories or how much $$$ or whatever, for I play in that league for bragging rights amungst my friends, and I could care less about what outsiders think... All I will say is I am no novice at Fantasy Baseball, whether it be standard roto, head to head, auction, salary cap, real money, online league, friends, strangers, and the list goes on as to the types of leagues I have experience with.... so maybe before you start insulting someone and proclaiming your greatness over others in here, you should actually KNOW the type of person or player that you are talking down to....

Frankly, if you never respond to any of my further discussions in Fantasy Baseball, I would not be missing anything

Dave don't get upset. I'm not trying to insult anyone.

I just review each posted team and I tell them what I think they did wrong. It's not done to upset you. It's done for you can't do nothing about it if you don't know about it.

I wish you understand what I was saying and I'm sorry that I fail to do that with you. I really don't want to fight with you or anyone else so can we just say peace.

Well... so far, with a few tweaks... I am dominating in this league.... pitching I am COMPLETELY dominating thanks to the ones that I mentioned as my favorite picks in the later rounds

Lowest standing I have in any category is 9.5 points out of 12.... my overall point total is 108.5, with second place being 87

The roster is basically the same, except for Lidge being replaced by Wheeler, Huff being replaced by Hawpe, Victorino being replaced by David Weathers (giving me the much sought after 4th closer), and Hermida being on the DL and Luis Gonzalez doing just fine for him in Hermida's absense
