The Rays really need veteran help in that bullpen... Either coaching wise or an older player. Someone who's been there.
If John Franco was coaching (and wasn't afraid to leave the Mets organization) he'd be a good bullpen coach... Or a prospective one at least. |

That could be said about the Rays team as a whole, but I do not see it as a negatie, especially in the closer or bullpen roles. In many cases, I think inexperience and being head-strong is a good thing for a pen. Granted, it must be watched carefully when the bad times come during the season, but all in all I think that the inexperience could be the best thing for this pen.

Well, in all the GOOD fantasy leagues, he was already taken, since it was pretty open info that he was being shopped around.
Next up: Joel Pineiro.

Thanks everyone on keeping on top of everything for stating Jorge Julio is now the Florida Closer. Now Matt Lindstrom is 1st in line and Taylor Tankersley becomes 2nd in line.
In Arizona after the Trade Tony Pena moves up from 2nd in line to replace Julio as 1st in line and Brandon Lyon enters the depth cart as 2nd in line. Also there was one more change of record. In St Louis Brad Thompson who was 2nd in line moves up to 1st in line to replace Adam Wainwright who was moved to the starting rotation and now Josh Hancock is 2nd in line in St Louis. |

645, here's a handy grid:
Closer Watch It's updated a couple of times per day in the spring, more-or-less daily once the season starts.

From Rotoworld
Weathers is still the closer in Cin. Madson is the setup man in Phi. Al Reyes is all but guarenteed to start as TB's closer. Frasor will start as Tor's setup man. B.Lyon is starting as Ari's setup man. B.Wilson and J.Capellen are in the minors. |

We have a few Closer-by-Committee right now in Cincinnati between David Weathers, Mike Stanton & Todd Coffey and in Tamba Bay between Al Reyes, Brian Stokes & Juan Salas.
Also Matt Wise is now 2nd in line in Milwaukee. |
